Coordinates: Ice Pac brought together installations by thirty-five of the Sacramento region’s most influential and celebrated artists within the former Pacific Satellite (PACSAT) news broadcast headquarters, a .73-acre site that has since been demolished for new residential and commercial development.
Produced during a period of rapid urban transformation in Sacramento, the immersive exhibition reclaimed vacant land as a site for artistic experimentation, public engagement, and cultural activation. Artists were given one month to transform the space, pushing the boundaries of material, scale, and concept while demonstrating the value and impact of Sacramento’s creative community.
