Meg Myers

"I have been working in glass for over 14 years, my practice bridges contemporary design with the historical craft of stained glass. My dad taught me when I was young, and after graduating from college it’s what I returned to, trying to find my footing in the world. 

 

Over the many years since then, I have built and refined my skills as both an artist and designer, and found family with the creative community in Sacramento. My recent work focuses on flowing geometry and abstract landscapes in glass, presented in vibrant colors and electrified by sunlight. I feel like this medium uniquely connects people with the spaces they inhabit, and I am incredibly grateful to be a forever student of it."
